Universal Art Group at the ICOM General Conference 2025 in Dubai

The Universal Art Group looks back on an extremely successful participation in the ICOM General Conference 2025, which took place from 11 to 17 November 2025 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Under the guiding theme “The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities”, groundbreaking topics such as intangible heritage, youth empowerment, and new technologies were at the centre of discussions – areas to which we were able to make a significant contribution.

A Strong Joint Presence

Together with Verlag Müller & Schindler, Faksimile Verlag, Kulturalis, Haltadefinizione, and our partners from Icaria Atelier, we showcased our wide range of projects and services. Throughout the conference, our shared stand served as a lively meeting point for professionals from around the world.

The fair offered numerous opportunities for valuable conversations and the establishment of new international contacts – an inspiring exchange that reinforced our approach to carrying cultural heritage into the future through research, craftsmanship, and technology.

Looking Ahead to the Next ICOM Conference

We are already looking forward to the next ICOM General Conference: Rotterdam, Netherlands, has been chosen as the host city for 2028, under the guiding theme “Building Bridges. Connecting Worlds, Cultures, and Generations. This upcoming event already inspires us: building bridges between cultures, generations, and worlds – fully in line with our commitment to intercultural exchange.

In Rotterdam, we will continue our activities with the aim of forging new partnerships, further contributing our digital and craft expertise, and actively shaping the future of museums.
