Book Presentation with Author Halla Bint Khalid
We are delighted to announce a special highlight of our programme at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2026:
On 15 September 2026 at 12 noon, we will present the book Qismah Naseeb at the German Collective Stand – together with its author and artist, Halla Bint Khalid.
Qismah Naseeb tells the story of Adam and accompanies him on a day of inner transformation. Guided by fate and fortune, he learns to overcome self-centredness and to embrace gratitude, humility and generosity. Drawing on the storytelling tradition of the Arabian Nights, this moral fable speaks to both children and adults.
Author and illustrator Halla Bint Khalid, a visual artist and storyteller based in Riyadh, will personally introduce the book and offer insights into the creation and background of this remarkable project.
Qismah Naseeb is available in English and Arabic.

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) will take place from 13 to 18 September 2026 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
