Universal Art Group at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2026

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2026 provided the Universal Art Group (UAG) with an excellent opportunity to present its work and publications to an international audience, while fostering meaningful encounters and dialogue across the fields of art, publishing and cultural heritage.
Together with Verlag Müller & Schindler, Faksimile Verlag and Kulturalis, we were represented at the German Collective Stand in Hall 5, Stand 5A05. On display were selected facsimile editions, high-quality art publications and current projects spanning cultural heritage, museum collaborations and fine art publishing.

Encounters in Abu Dhabi

From the very beginning, the fair was marked by numerous engaging encounters and stimulating conversations. The exchange with visitors and professionals from the international publishing and cultural sectors provided valuable opportunities to present our projects and establish new connections.

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair once again demonstrated its importance as a meeting place for international exchange in the fields of books, art and cultural heritage.

“Qismah Naseeb” – A Book Presentation with Halla Bint Khalid

A particular highlight of our presence at the fair was the presentation of “Qismah Naseeb” on 15 September 2026. Together with author and artist Halla Bint Khalid, we had the pleasure of introducing this remarkable book to an international audience.

“Qismah Naseeb” tells the story of Adam and his journey of inner transformation. Inspired by the rich storytelling tradition of the Arabian Nights, the narrative combines a timeless tale with a distinctive artistic visual language.

The presentation offered an opportunity to introduce the project and engage with visitors about the book’s creation and themes. “Qismah Naseeb” is available in both English and Arabic.

Cultural Dialogue and International Collaboration

For the Universal Art Group, participation in ADIBF 2026 was a valuable opportunity to present our work and publications to an international audience in the Gulf region.

The personal exchange at international book fairs such as ADIBF demonstrates how closely book art, cultural heritage and international collaboration are interconnected. The conversations held in Abu Dhabi opened the door to new contacts while further strengthening existing partnerships.

We look back on a successful fair marked by many inspiring encounters and look forward to continuing the conversations and projects that emerged in Abu Dhabi.
